Domain Layout Header Tutorial

What You Need: Kesha Cutouts, PNG packs, Textures, & PS Actions.

Step One [The Beginning!]

Open up a document, preferably any size that you want your layout to be, and Place the cutout you want to use wherever you want them to be. Oh, by the way, The background color I am using in this is, #3f2d1f. You do not have to use the same color! You can look at mine for an example..

Step Two [PNG TIME!]

Now, You can get the PNG pack that you got from Punk-rose (or anywhere else), and start putting in the PNG's To make it look a little better. You can choose any PNG pack on Mayra's site if you'd like! I used more than one pack! Again, you can look at mine for an example...

Step Three [Adding Textures!]

Next, It's my favorite part, Adding textures! All the textures I'm going to use are from punkrose. I'm going to be using a ton of textures, You can pick and choose whatever ones look best to you. But before you start adding textures make sure you merge visible. Now, you can start adding the textures you want. All the textures I use, I change to lighten, and I also change the opacity a little bit. You can take a look at mine for a guide...

Step Four [Action Time!]

Next, It's time to add some actions to make this layout/blend pop! Merge all layers Visible again. I'm getting my action from Punk-rose. (You can click the Action link above to pick out the one you want to use!) Again, It doesn't matter which one you use. I'm going to be using multiple ones. Here's how mine came out...

Step Five [The Finishing Touches!]

Now to finish this layout up: image>adjustments>color balance. I'm going to be changing my colors up, you don't have to if you don't want to. I'm also going to be playing around with the Hue/Saturation! So, then you are basically done. You can see how mine turned out. This is just a simple header, you can do a lot more if you want to. If you need any help, or if there is confusion, please let me know in my cbox and I can help you. After your done do not sharpen any more, it will make it look bad. Also, make sure you add your own credit to your layout, I don't want anyone to jock your stuff! You can add text to the layout too. I will not show you how to do that here. You can just add your own text.
